Biography

Me Jeffrey Boro is a criminal lawyer with over fifty years of advocacy experience. He founded the firm Boro Polnicky Lighter in 2002 that is now under the name of boro Frigon Gordon Jones since may 2018.

Me Boro has pleaded before every level of court in both Quebec and Ontario, including numerous appeals before the Quebec Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

In 2008, Me Boro was awarded the Robert-Sacchitelle Prize for Excellence in Litigation by the Montreal Criminal Defence Lawyers Association (AADM).

Me Boro was chair of the Comité de révision de l’aidejuridique and is currently the president of the Association d’entraide des avocats de Montréal. He has served as president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, Quebec region, as well as being the Vice-President of the national organization. Me Boro has also periodically lectured in the field of criminal law at McGill University.
